With a flash of light, and an ovurture of
harsh sounding minor chords played on an organ, Phantom of the Opera
begins. A few hours of wonderfuly written lyrics, and beautiful
costumes and chorography is an experience everyone should have. I got
to see Phantom last summer at the Curran Theater in San Fransisco,
and it was one of the few things I've seen that brought tears to my
eyes. And although it's not among my very favorite musicals, it's a
close runner up, and the theater freak I am, I wouldn't pass up the
chance to see it again.
